Meaty Madness Protein Pizza

Ingredients

Golden Home Protein Ultra Thin Pizza Crust

2 oz turkey sausage

1/8 c tomato puree

sprinkle of garlic powder, oregano, basil

1/4 c reduced fat mozzarella cheese

9 turkey pepperoni

1 oz organic turkey bacon

cracked black pepper

Directions

Cook turkey on stove until browned.

Set aside on paper towel.

Spread puree evenly across the Protein Pizza Crust. 

Sprinkle with seasonings. 

Place pepperoni over sauce. 

Distribute cheeses over pepperoni.

Top with sausage and bacon. Finish with pepper.

Grill or bake pizza according to instructions.

Baking in the Oven

  1. Preheat Oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Remove one Ultra Thin Pizza Crust from the package.
  3. Top with your favorite pizza sauce and toppings.
  4. Bake 8-12 minutes directly on center oven rack.
  5. Cool 1-2 minutes on a wire rack to retain maximum crispiness.

Grilling on a Gas Grill

  1. Preheat grill for 10-15 minutes. (If using a pizza stone: Preheat the pizza stone in grill for 10-15 minutes)
  2. Remove one Ultra Thin Pizza Crust from the package and assembe the pizza.
  3. Turn grill to lowest setting or off. (If using a pizza stone: Turn grill to low)
  4. Put the pizza on the rack (or pizza stone) and close lid.
  5. Bake time 8-10 minutes. Check occasionally. (If using a pizza stone: Bake time 2-3 minutes. Watch carefully.)
